our objectivesMr. Mohele holds a Master’s Degree in Economics (MA ECONOMICS), Bachelor of Arts in Economics both from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management– Institute of International Training of USDA Graduate School, Washington DC, USA. He is the Chairman of the MUCOBA Board to date and the AGM has approved to continue to be a chairman although has reached above the age provisions under the Companies Act, chapter 212 of the Laws of Tanzania (R.E.2002).
He has worked with CRDB for more than twenty seven years starting as a principal credit supervisor, project officer, research officer, secretary of the Board and Advisor to the Managing Director. After worked with CRDB he worked with Rural Financial Services Programme (RFSP) as Programme Coordinator from 1999 to 2011 and currently he is an independent consultant

IMG_1586Mr. Usangira holds a Bsc in Education from the University of Dar Es salaam (1970-1973). He has taught at various schools in Tanzania such as Mwenge secondary School, Singida (1975-1984) as an assistant Headmaster, as Headmaster at Mdabulo Secondary School, Mufindi, executive secretary at Mufindi Education Trust (MET) from 1989-1998, Chairperson-Iringa Region Academic Committee of TAHOSSA, 2002-2004  Headmaster-J.J. Mungai  Secondary School, 1999-2006

IMG_1589                                                             Mr Sanga holds a certicate in Education grade A from Tukuyu Teacher College certificate of education grade C Ndwika Teacher Training College and Certificate of Agricultural Economics From Bagamoyo MANTEP.He has served as a head teacher in a number of schools in the country.

IMG_1218Mr. Mahenge holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy (PGDA) -IFM and Advanced Diploma in Accountancy (ADA) both from the Institute of Finance Management (IFM).He also attended various training on financial management, Customer care and Service Quality Initiatives Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime Prevention Internal Audit Practice – IT Audit, Security and Governance, Performance Auditing, Asset Liability Management, Loan Documentation and Legal Procedures in Lending, Crucial Confrontations and Crucial Conversations.He has worked with various institutions before joining the bank such as an internal auditor with Tanzania Audit Corporation, Internal Auditor :Tanzania Elimu Supplies, Accountant: Iringa RETCO, Accountant: IDYDC, Iringa, Internal Auditor – MuCoBa, Finance Manager – MuCoBa,  Operations Manager –MuCoBa and currently a general manager of the bank.He has been board member of among others; Sustainable Iringa Project (SIP), KKKT Ilula Hospital and Mufindi District Council Audit Commitee.

The Senior Management

BEN MAHENGE-(GENERAL MANAGER)

Mr. Mahenge is the General Manager of the Bank and his credentials have been explained under the Board of Directors’ profile.

Mr. Philip is a Certified Public Accountant CPA (T) with Masters Degree in Finance and Banking from Tumaini University, also holds Bachelor of Accounting and Commerce (B.COM) from University of Dar es salaam. He has been attended various courses in Risk Management, Internal Audit Practices, Project management, Audit Committee, International Reporting Standards, Human Resource and IT Auditing, Operation Risk & Forensic Accounting, Good Governance, leadership and Professional code of ethics, accountancy & accountability in transforming the organization, Risk Based Audit, Asset Liability Management, Loan Documentation and Legal Procedures in Lending and Stress Testing in Risk Management. He has more than 13 years’ working experiences in Auditing, Risk Management, Accounting, Project Appraisals, Planning, Leadership and Management in both Public and Privet sectors. Before joining MUCOBA Bank PLC, Mr. Philip was the Chief Internal Auditor of Mkwawa University and the Head of Internal Audit Unit, before then he was a senior Assistant Internal Auditor, also he was a Secretary of Audit Committee, Member of Finance Committee, Member of Funding and Promotion committee. Mr. Philip also worked with Dodoma District Council as an Accountant and later was appointed to be a TASSAF Project Coordinator; the project was funded by the Word Bank. In 2004 he was employed as an Assistant Accountant at the COW Water International Project funded by Canadian Government in Collaboration with Economic Social Research foundation (ESRF).

1Mr. Sangana is a seasoned banker with 6 years’ experience in credit, operations, business development and risk management gained in various financial institutions in Tanzania. He heads the credit department of the Bank and responsible for growing the banks business by identifying and building a rapport with potential clients, closing sales and contracts. Sangana has been with MUCOBA BANK PLC since August 2015 and holds MBA in marketing &Entrepreneurship and B.COM (Accounting) degree.

2Mr.Job Malekela holds Bachelor of Accountancy and Finance (Business Accounting and Finance) – (BAF): from Mzumbe University .He has also attended various courses in Money Laundering, Fraud Detection and Prevention of Armed Robbery, Business Continuity Management, Loan Documentation and Legal Procedures in Lending, Customer care and Service Quality Initiatives , Money Laundering Control, Stress Testing in Risk Management, Internal Audit Practice – IT Audit, Security and Governance, Performance Auditing, Asset Liability Management , Loan Documentation and Legal Procedures in Lending and Stress Testing in Risk Management
He has worked with the Southern Paper Mills (SPM) Mgololo, Mufindi as an assistant Laboratory Technician, Assistant Manager, Marketing and Transportation Officer for the United Lumber and Forests Products Company Limited. He joined Mucoba in 2005 as credit officer, accountancy and currently is the finance manager of the bank.

hildaMrs.Hilda Mng’ong’o holds Bachelor of Commerce and Management (B.com Finance and Banking) from University of Dar Es Salaam. Mrs Mng’ongo has attended various courses in  Tellers, Customer Care, Training on Risk Management, Stress Testing in Risk Management , Mobile Operations and Reconciliation,Loan Appraisal and Recovery, Service  Quality Initiatives, Credit Management and Loan Appraisal and Training under the second  phase of the National Economic Empowerment and job creation program-‘’UWEZESHAJI’’

She has worked with Dar Es Salaam Community Bank as Credit Officer; she joined Mufindi Community Bank in 2009 as Acting Credit Manager, Senior Credit Officer, Teller/ Cashier and currently the Risk and Compliance Officer of the bank.

itMr. Malipula holds MBA in Information Technology from Institute of Accountancy Arusha in collaboration with Coventry Univeristy and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science from Institute of Finance Management – IFM.

He has attended various courses in computing, including Systems Software (Operating Systems), Programming in different languages, Computer Applications, Software Systems and Network Engineering.

He has worked with Silmal Investments, Dar es Salaam as PC Technician and Network Engineer and Mbeya City Council as a system analyst. He joined MUCOBA Bank PLC  from February 2008 to date and currently an IT administrator of the bank.
